Robin Steel is one of the series' minor antagonists and the final antagonist of the series. He is a weasel and a sleazy con artist who along with his son Rod set up bogus races which are fixed to allow them to claim the prize money.
Robin Steel was voiced by the late Len Carlson. His name is a pun on "Rob and Steal". He is possibly named after Robin Steele, the co-creator of Nelvana's Stickin' Around.
Trivia[]
He once worked for Milton Midas. However in Go for Gold, he has gone solo, so it's possible that Midas ether fired him or he went into business for himself when Midas was arrested in The One That Got Away.
He is more likely based on the Chief Weasel from Kenneth Graham's 1908 novel The Wind in the Willows.
In Stress Test! he was named Seymore, so it might be possible that ether he has a twin brother or that Seymore is his middle name.
